Admissions

New Student Admission

We are here to assist you with the three stages of our admission process.  Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or to have our office staff reach out to you.

Tour our Facility

We would love to have you and your child(ren) tour our school, preview our classes, or join us for an event!

Plan to attend our Visitors' Day on Tuesday, May 6 or schedule a tour on another date.

Application

After we have had a chance to meet with you for a school tour, these items will need to be completed in order for your child to be considered for acceptance:

  • Complete the Application for Admission
  • Records and Teacher’s Recommendation received from previous school (if applicable)
Click here for a Record Release Form
  • Testing - Our resource specialist will test your child in a one-on-one setting to assess your student’s academic needs. We are able to determine whether a child may need remedial help or enrichment work in the areas of reading and math. For younger children (4-6 years) we use the Gesell Developmental Observation, a developmental screening, to measure readiness for school. The Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT4) and the informal Qualitative Reading Inventory (QRI) are used for older students. A Consent for Testing form needs to be completed and signed prior to the test administration. After the tests have been evaluated, our resource specialist will make an appointment to discuss your child’s results with you.
  • Financial consultation with our Business Manager. Please bring the Financial Information Form to your consultation. You may call us (540-740-8237) to schedule an appointment.

Consultation

  • After the tour and application steps are complete, please make an appointment for an Educational Success Consultation with our principal. You may call us (540-740-8237) to schedule an appointment.  This meeting is devoted to discussing the particular gifts/needs of your child and visioning for success.
  • Please bring your child’s most current report card with you to the consultation. (It would also be helpful to bring standardized test results, but is not required.)
